The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchase with us.
The price of transportation is all-inclusive, packaging costs, transport costs and where applicable insurance costs. It is calculated directly at the time of purchase – depending on the weight of items and the distance of transportation.
We have negotiated favourable rates and have passed on these savings to you, our valued customers.
Like us, you believe in buying locally and understand what it means to support artisan businesses in Bulgaria. You can be proud to buy a handmade original product that was made in Bulgaria. It will be shipped to you free of charge. We have chosen Speedy as our partner to deliver directly to your home anywhere in the country.
As part of a united continent, we want to make sure that our great designs are able to cross borders easily making them accessible to our neighbours. We only work with Speedy/DPD – a proven & reliable delivery partner to provide you with a fast and efficient service all the way to your front door. Furthermore, we offer free shipping across the whole EU for all orders over €300. The more you buy items, the less the transportation costs are, so your interest is to group your orders with your friends or your family.
For our friends around the globe, we are happy to ship anywhere as long as the destination is offered by our international carrier – DHL. Our negotiated prices are cheaper than the prices found on their website. Packages shipped outside of the EU are insured for loss and damage. What is more, the issuing of all cross-border documentation covering customs charges & VAT will all be taken care of for you.
Our business is based within the European Union. Thus, when items are sent to a country outside the EU, additional costs will be incurred – such as customs, import duty or VAT– that need to be paid before the item can be delivered or collected.
Ivan Aleksander has no control over these charges and is not in any way responsible for paying them.
These additional costs are not included in the base price charged by IvanAleksander.com. The responsibility for paying these charges is entirely with the customer, or the recipient, if the product is being delivered to a different address than the buyer’s own address.
To simplify matters for our international customers, we manage the entire process for you. VAT and import duties will be estimated and pre-calculated at the time of ordering. DHL will handle customs clearance documentation on behalf of our customers. Import duties will be clearly displayed as a separate line item on the invoice.
There is no action required on your behalf, other than to simply wait to receive your package at your door.
Please allow delays due to unknown customs processing timelines in the receiving country.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide shipping labels for returns on all orders.

We securely package each item by hand paying extra attention to fragile parts before handing it over to the shipping company personally. Whilst the packaging may not be the prettiest, it will be the most cost-effective and as recyclable as we can manage.
We undertake to track your order after it leaves our workshop and will keep you informed of any delays or issues. Your tracking number is contained on your invoice and can be entered directly into our website to check the progress of your delivery. Click on Track Order – the link is found on the Footer.
Return shipping costs will be refunded under certain conditions.

We cannot accept responsibility for goods that are delayed due to circumstances that are beyond our control (transport strikes, bad weather, traffic jams, Christmas and Bank Holidays, etc).
We do not offer compensation for a delivery taking longer than we anticipated. On occasion, couriers can be delayed and this can sometimes be later, unfortunately, this is out of our control and we do not offer compensation in these circumstances.
If the delay is longer than 14 days after the expected delivery date then goods may be deemed missing.
